It's been a while, hasn't it? I blame uninstalling and reinstalling my game with Apartment Life, losing all my downloads, and school. I'm not sure how much more creating I'll do in the coming months, but I do enjoy it and I'll create when I can.
This guy has been sitting half-finished in my Sims bin for a couple months. Someone on Garden of Shadows requested him ages ago so I thought I'd try. He's Mickey Smith from the TV series Doctor Who. He's also called Ricky, Mickey the Idiot, and he sometimes refers to himself as the tin dog.

One of these days I'll learn how to handpaint my own textures or photoskin without looking over photoskinned. For now, I'm grateful to those creators who share their textures. Thanks guys!
The WNF aspiration set is Steampunk! Dammit, now I have to delete some stuff to make room for all of this goodness.

I snagged the textures from one of Migamoo's pants sets and slapped them on this mesh. Mesh is included, but check out the original thread to get the bright recolors. Mine are only untucked.
Files compressorized for your convenience. Unlike my other uploads, the filename says simperer instead of Troubadour because I don't think these are quite GoS material.
The title ... I was listening to the Beatles.

Also good for your inventors, machinists and automaton builders.

The models are John Seward and Lucy Westenra by the way. Dracula for the win!
I saw a cute Victorian cottage here at Victoriana.com and wanted to duplicate it. Although my model is much more spartan and, of course, had to be adjusted for the game, I like how it turned out. Most of the houses I build are bland Victorians as they're the houses I've lived in and they're the houses I love :P

Sorry the back view is overexposed and the front view is dark. I've yet to get the hang of Sims lighting.

I put a shower and a toilet in the upstairs bath; my sims never wash their hands anyway. The large room to the right can be used as a master bedroom or a study. It's been thoroughly playtested and the only problem I had was toddlers passing out on the upstairs landing and clogging the traffic. The landing can be enlarged easily, but I liked having a huge bedroom.
If you delete the plants and strip the walls you can probably get it down to a starter home. After using it for nearly an adult life stage (however many sim days that is) the price went down to around 18,300.
It comes unfurnished with only one piece of custom content: the wood floors by Holy Simoly. I have all EPs up to Freetime except Bon Voyage and no stuff packs. Whether or not they are all necessary is beyond me.
